I’m trying to hook up a amp and sub to my factory radio .My factory radio has the bose speaker system. What color wire harness is the speaker wires connected too and where is the harness located?
You would want to connect to the OEM subwoofer wires either at the sub itself or at the amp in the rear of the vehicle behind the rear seats.
Do you know how to restore audio to the front door / dash speakers on a 2015 Tahoe PPV police edition ? It came from factory set up to run police communications through front and I want regular car radio back. Thanks
Unfortunately we don’t have any info on the police version that would help you out sorry!
I figured it out in case anyone else stumbles through here.
Under the center of the dash on the floor is a connector labeled WX7 that splits the radio harness and cuts off front speakers. Unplug pigtail and re-plug the originals in. Its under rubber floor mat. Pop pass door threashold trim off and pull mat back and its right there.
Glad you got it figured out thanks for sharing the info!
Dan- I have a 2007 tahoe ppv….could you send a picture of how you reconnected the audio to the front speakers. I too have the wx7 wiring.
Trying to find the subwoofer in my 2015 Chevy Tahoe lt
Is this the same wire diagram for a 2016 Silverado with the Bose system but without the factory sub.
